Construction and safety supplies distributor White Cap has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the business of Ace Contractors Supply — an Austin, TX-based distributor of concrete accessories, rebar, safety and consumable products and other construction supplies.
White Cap said the deal will expand its presence and product offering in Central Texas, which the company called one of the country’s fastest-growing construction markets.
“Ace Contractors Supply has earned the trust of contractors throughout Central Texas by delivering exceptional service and deep local expertise,” White Cap CEO Alan Sollenberger said in the Aug. 11 announcement. “We’re excited to welcome the Ace team to White Cap and look forward to building on their strong customer relationships while providing expanded resources and solutions to help customers succeed.”

Ace primarily serves the commercial construction market, including contractors working on government projects, schools, roads and bridges and large commercial buildings. Its product assortment centers on lumber, rebar and concrete supplies, alongside safety equipment, erosion-control products, fasteners, tools and other jobsite products. The company also offers product sourcing and delivery within a 200-mile radius of its Austin location.
The pending transaction marks White Cap’s fifth announced acquisition of 2026. The Atlanta-based company started the year by acquiring Fort Worth, TX-based structural foundation protection products manufacturer VoidForm Products. It completed its combination with Colony Hardware in February, adding more than 60 locations across 20 eastern and central states, before acquiring Concrete Systems Inc., which operates in Albuquerque, NM and El Paso, TX, in May.
On Aug. 3, White Cap completed its acquisition of Gierke Robinson Company, a century-old distributor with four Iowa locations that supplies concrete accessories and tools and provides equipment rentals and repair services.
White Cap has also expanded organically. On Aug. 6, it celebrated the opening of its second Enterprise Distribution Center, a nearly 481,000-square-foot facility in Bethlehem, PA. The company’s first eastern U.S. EDC currently supports 67 branches across 13 states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
White Cap operates approximately 575 branches across North America with more than 12,000 employees serving about 200,000 customers.
