The Clorox Company has officially launched Clorox Purell ProCare, a new B2B-focused business that combines CloroxPro with GOJO Industries, maker of Purell, into a single health and hygiene platform.
Announced Sept. 28, the business brings the companies’ professional and healthcare portfolios under a unified sales and service organization and network of distributors. Its brands include Clorox, Purell, Pine-Sol, GOJO and Glad, with a portfolio spanning skin and surface hygiene products. Clorox said the combined operation brings 180 years of health and hygiene experience and is intended to give professional and healthcare customers broader access to products, programs and support.
Clorox Purell ProCare is headquartered in Akron, OH, with offices in Pleasanton, CA, and Toronto. Additional locations include Ashland, Cuyahoga Falls and Wooster, OH, and Alpharetta, GA. Carey Jaros, president of Clorox Purell, said the combined business is designed to provide customers and distributor partners an expanded portfolio alongside integrated service and support.
The launch follows Clorox’s April 1 completion of its $2.25 billion acquisition of GOJO. When the deal was announced in January, Clorox said GOJO generated nearly $800 million in annual sales, with more than 80% of revenue flowing through a broad B2B distributor network supported by roughly 20 million installed soap and sanitizer dispensers that drive recurring demand. Clorox cited GOJO’s distributor reach as a central reason the acquisition would strengthen its professional business.
That operation adds scale to an established Clorox B2B presence. Before the GOJO acquisition, CloroxPro and Clorox Healthcare were housed in the company’s Health and Wellness segment, which represented 38% of fiscal 2025 sales, according to Clorox’s annual report. The GOJO addition has further shifted Clorox toward health and hygiene. In August, the company said its global health and hygiene portfolio had grown to more than half of total net sales.
MDM Analysis
For distributors — primarily those in the JanSan/facilities maintenance product verticals that Clorox Purell ProCare caters to — the key shift is less a new brand than the combination of two established channel businesses behind one commercial organization. The larger portfolio creates more cross-selling potential across hand hygiene, surface care and adjacent facility products, while GOJO’s installed dispenser base adds recurring demand.
Distributors should watch how Clorox aligns overlapping channel relationships, sales coverage, assortments, pricing and customer support. No major distributor-network changes were announced, but the unified structure makes those integration decisions an important area to monitor.
