Dallas-based industrial hose and rubber products distributor Singer Industrial announced its acquisition of Filtration & Hose Specialties (FHS), expanding its Texas footprint and service capabilities across the state’s western region.

Financial terms were not disclosed for the deal that marks Singer’s 52nd completed bolt-on since 1999.

Headquartered in Abilene, TX, FHS also operates locations in Cleburne and Odessa. Loy “Jimo” Garner founded the company in 2006, growing it from a single product line into a supplier of filtration, hose and industrial products.

Its inventory includes filters, hydraulic and industrial hose, hose assemblies and related supplies. The company also provides 24/7 on-call service. Garner’s grandson, Justin Harris, serves as General Manager.

“Joining Singer Industrial gives FHS access to broader resources and capabilities while allowing our team to remain focused on the customers and relationships that built this business,” Harris said in the announcement. “We look forward to building on our product offering, technical knowledge and responsive service as part of Singer Industrial.”

Singer said FHS will gain access to its broader product portfolio, shared resources and technical expertise. CEO Pete Haberbosch said the three locations strengthen Singer’s ability to serve Texas customers.

The acquisition is Singer’s second of 2026, following its May 1 announcement that it acquired Conveyor Consulting and Rubber Corp. Based in San Antonio, FL, CCR also has locations in Miami and Toledo, OH. Its offerings include conveyor consulting, installation, maintenance and rubber products for markets including aggregates, mining, manufacturing, food processing and bulk material handling.

Earlier this year, Singer promoted Haberbosch to CEO, announcing the move April 13. The 27-year company veteran had served as President since late 2020 and helped develop Singer’s “coordinated autonomy” operating model, which combines shared resources with local business independence. He joined the platform in 1999 through its acquisition of Hampton Rubber.
