DPA Buying Group, DDS Partner on Product Content Hub

A new product content hub will streamline the delivery of eCommerce product information to DPA's member distributors.

Buying group Distributor Partners of America (DPA) partnered with a wholesale distribution product provider to create a hub to give distributor members access to up-to-date product information from a network of manufacturers.

DPA, which serves the safety, industrial supply and JanSan industries, and Distributor Data Solutions (DDS) created a Product Content Hub to streamline the delivery of product content to its member distributors. Members can use the product information to power their eCommerce platforms. This initiative is designed to improve the customer experience, facilitate informed purchasing decisions and drive growth for distributors and manufacturers, DPA officials said in an April 3 news release.

DDS says it has the largest catalog of manufacturer data in the industry.

Earlier this year, DPA unveiled an online educational portal that offers free product training and soft-skills courses to all DPA distributors and their employees.
