Member spend through Independent Welding Distributors Cooperative set a new annual high water mark in 2025, topping $400 million.
An April 2 news release detailed that the record figure was a alongside a new all-time mark for net income distributed to membership, growth in member locations to a total of 40; significant tractio in IDWC’s EDI platform; and three new affiliate members (now seven total).

Alongside direct spend, additional nondirect spend not invoiced through Indianapolis-based IWDC was approximately $150.
Additionally, IWDC said 2025 saw increased member participation in the co-op’s PurityPlus specialty gases program (35 producers) and the upcoming May launch of IWDC’s Full-Line Distribution Center catalog.
“We are proud to have set a new milestone, and we are looking forward to raising the bar again in 2026,” IWDC President and CEO Frank Kasnick said. “This is a testament to the strength and resilience of the independents in our welding & gas industry and reflects the strong support from our Vendor partners.”
IWDC member companies collectively represent over $4.2 billion in sales.
