San Diego, CA-based military and aerospace-oriented MRO distributor Airsupply Jeyco was acquired by buyout firm Tide Rock.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Airsupply’s offerings include tool kitting, specialty tool distribution, laser etching, part marking and waterjet cutting, serving industries such as defense, aerospace and industrial. The company analyzes onsite tool usage and customer workflows to create customized solutions such as modular offices, mezzanines, mobile aisle systems, pallet racks and workstations.
The company, also known as Airsupply Tools, LLC, produces “white box” kits for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.

“With Tide Rock’s support, Airsupply will expand its reach, scaling its patented solutions to serve a growing base of aerospace and defense customers,” Airsupply President Sean Hutchens said in a Feb. 11 news release. “We have built our reputation as a one-stop shop with quality, reliability and cost-effective solutions; partnering with Tide Rock and its growth team would give us the resources and expertise to scale.
Tide Rock said its acquisition of Airsupply strengthens its “commitment” to the aerospace and defense industries while broadening its current portfolio of manufacturing companies.
Tide Rock describes itself as an unlevered buyout firm with a portfolio of diverse, economically resilient B2B businesses in lower middle markets.
