Despite difficult forecasting circumstances, NetPlus Alliance members remain predominantly positive regarding expected growth in 2025, according to the industrial distribution buying group’s latest Industry Outlook report.
The report, which tracks business results and trends in the industrial and contractor supply markets, drew on a survey of NetPlus members conducted in April and was based on first quarter 2025 results.

Approximately 69% of respondents forecast sales growth in 2025 that would be up 3% or more compared to 2024, while 13% anticipate a decline in growth by 3% or more. Despite the results remaining positive, this is a decline from the previous survey which showed that 87% of respondents expected growth, while 3% anticipated a decline.
In its latest quarterly survey, NetPlus Alliance reported a 5.1% increase in distributors’ purchases from NetPlus suppliers for the quarter and a 54% increase for the year.
