On June 25, the National Fastener Distributors Association announced the results of its 2026-2027 leadership elections that occurred June 17-19 at the group’s 2026 Annual Meeting, now led by Field Fastener Vice President of Supply Chain Melissa Patel as NFDA’s new President.
Angelia Philippart of AFC Industries will serve as NFDA Vice President, alongside Scott Camp of Atlas Distribution Services as Associate Chair and Ed Smith of Wurth Industry USA as Immediate Past President.
Those elected leaders are joined by the following on the NFDA board of directors:
New directors:
- Kevin Hochstetler – Martin Supply
- George Hunt III – Brighton Best International
- Tim Roberto – LindFast Solutions Group
- Brandon Wiley – NAPPCO Fastener Company
Returning directors:
- Harry Doherty – Fasco Inc.
- Christian Reich – Goebel Fasteners
- Jennifer Sturm – Empire Bolt & Screw
All 2026-2027 board positions are effective as of June 17.
NFDA added its annual meeting paid recognition to retiring board members Steve Andrasik of Bright Best International, Alex Goldberg of AMPG, Scott Longfellow of Huyett and Scott McDaniel of Martin Supply.
In operation since 1968, NFDA is a non-profit trade association serving the North American fastener industry. It is comprised of professionals throughout the fastener industry — from both distributors and manufacturers — whose businesses range in size from small family firms to large multinational corporations.
