“Fred and Kibbee Akel were fantastic clients and built a business that is very attractive to investors,” Heritage Deal Team Lead Joe Hawkins said in a Feb. 14 news release. “We worked very closely with them to achieve their desired outcome. This required vetting several highly qualified investors in order to find the right partner for them. We found that partner in Roebling and designed a structure to satisfy the [founder’s] short-term and long-term objectives.”
