Hydraulic and fluid connector products manufacturer and distributor Brennan Industries acquired Australia-based Aussie Adaptors & Hydraulics P/L.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2012, Aussie Adaptors & Hydraulics P/L supplies hydraulic adapters, quick release couplers, ball valves and other fluid transfer products. The company supplies a broad network across Australia and internationally, offering Gates hydraulic hoses along with compatible Gates One- and Two-Piece hose tails and ferrules.

This marks Brennan’s second major international acquisition within a year, following its November 2024 purchase of Coterflex Industrial in Brazil. With operations in South America and now Australia, Brennan is continuing to expand its global footprint.

Brennan said the acquisition supports its long-term strategy in the Australian market and will help strengthen its presence in key sectors including aerospace, automotive and energy.

“Brennan has, for a long time, been attracted to the Australian market,” Brennan Industries Chairman & CEO David Carr said in an Aug. 18 news release. “We are very pleased to have found a partner that shares our vision and our values.  We look forward to supporting Frank De Cesare as he continues to lead a great team.”

Aussie Adaptors & Hydraulics P/L will continue operating under its current name for a short period before transitioning to the Brennan brand. The company said the change is intended to support a smooth integration with minimal disruption to customers and partners.

Elsewhere, Brennan expanded into Mexico in May 2024 by opening a new distribution center in Querétaro.
