Pumping, industrial and MRO supplies distributor DXP Enterprises has notched its latest acquisition in a move that extends the company’s U.S. Gulf Coast presence and capabilities.
Moores has been in business since 1972, and was owned by company President Andrew Cormier and Vice President Scotty Roy since 2004. It is a full-service pump and supply company, complete with a mechanical division, fabrication group and a machine shop. The company serves onshore and offshore customers along the Gulf Coast.
Signing of the deal happened on July 1. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed, but DXP shared that Moores’ sales and adjusted EBITDA for the last 12 months ending May 30 were approximately $10.3 million and $1.8 million, respectively.
DXP’s previously most recent acquisition was of Barstow, FL-based Arroyo Process Equipment this past February.
On MDM’s 2025 Top Distributors Lists, DXP was No. 4 for Fluid Power, No. 8 for MRO, No. 8 for Power Transmission/Bearings and No. 17 for Industrial Supplies.
