The Macomb Group Acquires Mechanical Supply

Acquisition expands Macomb's footprint in the southeast U.S.

The Macomb Group Inc., Sterling Heights, MI, has acquired Mechanical Supply Company, Matthews, NC, a distributor of pipe, valves and fittings to commercial and industrial customers.

Mechanical Supply Company will now operate as Mechanical Supply Company LLC, a member of The Macomb Group Inc.

“We’ve been looking for the right opportunity in the southeast for a number of years and see Mechanical Supply as having many of the same qualities as our own organization – putting customers and service first,” said Bill McGivern, CEO of The Macomb Group.  

With the acquisition, The Macomb Group will have 19 locations in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina.
