Industrial protective packaging solutions manufacturer FCA Packaging — a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital — acquired Viking Packing Specialist.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Tulsa, OK, Viking is a manufacturer and distributor specializing in custom wood crates, cases, metal containers, corrugated packaging and dangerous goods solutions. The company serves a diverse range of industries with products including EV batteries, aerospace components, defense articles and more. Founded in 1979, Viking operates facilities in Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and London, England.

Founded in 1985, FCA provides a variety of customized, heavy-duty industrial packaging products and services to OEMs across multiple industries. Based in Illinois, the company’s product line includes crates and boxes, pallets and skids, custom packaging and collapsible packaging. FCA operates facilities in California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.
