Pumps and industrial equipment manufacturer Ingersoll Rand acquired G&D Chillers, Inc and Advanced Gas Technologies Inc for a combined price of approximately $27 million.
Based in the U.S., G&D specializes in manufacturing glycol chillers designed to cool liquids — particularly in applications that require below freezing temperatures, such as breweries, wineries and food processing operations. Ingersoll Rand said the acquisition enhances its manufacturing, engineering and Engineer to Order (ETO) capabilities for chillers across the North American market.
