West Chester, Ohio-based industrial supply and fasteners distributor AFC Industries‘ England-based business unit TFC has added O-ring and seal capacity with the acquisition of Supaseal.

TFC, a supplier of vendor-managed inventory solutions and technical engineering products with locations in the UK, Germany and the Czech Republic, acquired the UK-based rubber seal supplier founded in 1991.

Supaseal supplies a wide range of O-rings, rotary shaft seals, bonded seals, circlips, and associated products to customers in the UK, Europe, the U.S., and the Middle and Far East. The company will continue to be run by its current management team and operate out of its existing premises in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

“Working alongside TFC feels like a great match for the Supaseal team,” said Supaseal Director Lisa Bingley in an April 8 news release. “It creates fresh opportunities within our current customer network and allows us to share our extensive 30+ years of industry knowledge with TFC’s customers.”

TFC previously acquired EAP Seals located in Manchester in April 2023 and this move adds to TFC’s market share in rubber sealing products and strengthens the technical components category.

On MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors Lists, TFC’s parent company AFC Industries ranked No. 34 for industrial supplies and No. 8 on fasteners. AFC has been rapidly expanding. In 2023, it made seven deals and, in March, it acquired Philadelphia-based fastener, door hardware and galvanized aircraft cable distributor Globe International Corp.
