(ICS) will join forces, the two companies announced Dec. 7. The combined business will be known as ICS Martin, according to a news release. Financial details of the merger — effective Jan. 1, 2023 — were not disclosed.
Both JD Martin and ICS are described as “manufacturers’ representative agencies.” JD Martin sells electrical products in 15 states: Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, the Carolinas and Florida. ICS currently covers Alabama, Georgia, Florida, the Carolinas, Virginia and Tennessee. Post-merger, ICS Martin will serve 17 states.
