It’s the third deal announced by Charlotte, NC-based Solve in a span of two weeks, following B&B Manufacturing (La Porte, IN) on Oct. 19 and Power Rite Products (New Bunswick, NJ) on Oct. 14.
“The Miller acquisition fits so well because it expands our manufacturing capabilities, and adds a great workforce and facility in Kent,” Solve CEO said in a news release. “Additionally, Miller’s focus on conveyor bearings is key, as they are a key component of the conveyor rollers we manufacture in Loveland, OH. This move helps us expand our solutions for the material handling industry.”

Operating out of a 60,000-square-foot production facility, Miller was founded by Donald Miller in 1978, and his son, Donald Miller Jr., has led the business for the past 40 years.
“Solve is a great fit for Miller.” Miller Jr. added. “Their scale and speed will help us grow, while their reputation ensures our customers will continue receiving the world-class service we were built on.”
Solve was formed in 2020 to unite the PTI, IPTCI and LMS brands. Miller Bearing represents the seventh brand Solve has since acquired to expand its offerings in bearings and power transmission.
