Metal cutting solutions provider Seco has acquired Irish company PMT Premier Machine Tools Ltd, a supplier of machining solutions for the medical industry, according to a news release.
Financial details were not announced. With this acquisition Seco will increase its presence in the medical segment offering integrated manufacturing solutions, the company said.
Seco said PMT will continue to operate as an independent company and sell its products and services under the PMT brand. All current PMT offerings also will continue in the future, Seco said.
“Seco and PMT have enjoyed a close and successful working relationship for many years” said Stefan Steenstrup, President of Seco. “Our offer to our customers has been further enhanced with PMT joining the Seco Tools family.”
