HVACR, plumbing and industrial PVF distributor Winsupply acquired a minority stake in Mined XAI.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Dayton, OH-based Mined XAI offers explainable AI solutions to help businesses address various challenges, specializing in enterprise forecasting, fleet management, risk modeling, supply chain optimization, resource management and data-driven insights.

Winsupply said it is further strengthening its three-year partnership with Mined XAI to provide explainable AI solutions for supply chain, purchasing, distribution and fleet management applications.
“This strategic investment keeps Winsupply at the forefront of leveraging this transformative technology to support entrepreneurs in a business environment of growing complexity,” Winsupply Support Services President Robert DiTommaso said in a March 5 news release. “We have seen the impact of using AI in our operational processes and we anticipated this relationship will accelerate our overall business operations.”

Winsupply’s most recent previous acquisition was of Texas-based Epic Supply, LLC, completed on October 2.
The company was No. 2 on MDM’s Top Distributor’s List for Plumbing, No. 3 for HVACR, No. 6 for Industrial PVF and No. 5 for Industrial Supplies.
