Roofing and other building supplies distributor Beacon opened new locations in Conroe, TX, and Goldsboro, NC, at the end of December 2023 to serve residential and commercial roofing contractors and lumberyards.
In 2023, Beacon opened 28 locations and acquired 21 branches through nine transactions for a total of 49 new branches that year.
The newest Texas branch is in the Houston metropolitan area and will join nine other Beacon locations in the area to serve contractors as the population continues to grow north of the city, company officials said in a Jan. 16 news release.
The new North Carolina branch is focused on lumberyard customers.
“Our product range, delivery fleet and specialized employees will be highly appreciated by lumberyards in the Carolinas region,” said Clint Wade, Beacon’s National Vice President.
Beacon was No. 6 on MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors List for Building Materials/Construction.
