Puyallup, WA-based Trimlite — a distributor of residential doors and related door products owned by Wynnchurch Capital — announced March 11 that it has acquired Harris Door and Millwork.

Based in Pendergrass, GA, Harris Door is a distributor of door products and Millwork in business since 2019, providing products for customers that range from large national pro dealers to local independent dealers in the U.S. Southeast.

Scotty Harris Jr. and Devon Miller will continue to lead Harris Door as General Manager and VP of Product Management, respectively, while remaining shareholders. Scott Harris Sr. will continue with the company, facilitating sales retention, and will also remain a shareholder.

“We are excited to join the Trimlite team and benefit from additional capital investments, strategic guidance and access to a wider array of unique products while maintaining the legacy and culture we have built over the last seven years,” Harris Jr. & Miller said in a news release. “Our focus will continue to be on relentlessly serving the customer with the best lead times and quality in the industry!”F

Founded in 1982, Trimlite provides residential doors and related door products across North America. The company supplies a broad range of interior and exterior door slabs, prehung doors, door glass and doorlites, and other related products, sold through its network of wholesale distributors, dealers and OEM customers.

The JIAN Group acted as the sole financial advisor to Harris Door & Millwork.
