Ferguson has formed a strategic alliance with Contractor Commerce to help contractors modernize how they sell services and interact with customers online, the companies announced May 5.
Contractor Commerce provides eCommerce and online sales tools specifically designed for home service contractors. Based in Lebanon, OH, specializes in plug-and-play eCommerce storefronts for residential service contractors. Through the partnership, Ferguson contractor customers will gain access to digital commerce capabilities intended to help contractors generate leads, book jobs and create recurring revenue streams directly through their websites.

The platform enables contractors to offer self-service purchasing experiences online, including service scheduling, quote generation, equipment purchases and membership enrollments. The companies said the tools are designed to help contractors meet changing homeowner expectations while maintaining control over pricing, product offerings and customer relationships.
Contractor Commerce also said its platform includes AI-powered search optimization tools intended to improve contractor visibility as consumers increasingly use AI-driven search and discovery tools when researching home service providers.
“For contractors, a website should be more than just an online placeholder; it’s an asset that should be generating real revenue,” Contractor Commerce President Paul Redman said in the announcement.
“Contractor success is at the center of everything we do, and success today means continuing to anticipate and meet changing consumer expectations,” added Scott Hager, vice president of HVAC at Ferguson. “That’s why it’s critical that contractors have access to tools that are both powerful and practical. Contractor Commerce supports that evolution with capabilities designed for real-world application.”
With more than $31 billion in 2025 revenue, Ferguson is a major distributor of plumbing, HVACR, PVF and industrial supplies throughout North America.
