Most recently, Teerlinck served as President and CEO of Crescent Electric Supply, ranked No. 12 on MDM’s Top Distributors List for Electrical. His last day with the electrical distributor was on Jan. 31. Before that, Teerlinck was President of Werner Electric Supply. He started his career at Rockwell Automation, where he held progressively senior roles across global and regional sales, support functions, marketing, P&L management and operations during his 18-year tenure.

Teerlinck will oversee Atkore’s electrical sales organization, which is currently managed by Melissa Kidd. Kidd had previously announced her planned retirement in July 2025. Atkore said Teerlinck will also assume broader responsibilities across various customer touchpoints, including overseeing the company’s network of regional service centers nationwide.

“Scott is a proven leader with significant experience and knowledge of the electrical industry, including manufacturing and distribution,” Atkore President and CEO Bill Waltz said in a Feb. 26 news release. “This broad perspective will be advantageous as Atkore focuses on strategic growth opportunities by meeting customers’ evolving business needs and enhancing their experiences with us.”
