Electrical manufacturers representative agency JD Martin announced Jume 24 that it has acquired New Century Sales — a fellow rep agency catering to contractor customers in Indiana, Kentucky, and Central and Southern Illinois.
Based in Indianapolis, New Century Sales was formed in 1999 and has about a dozen employees.
Meanwhile, Dallas-based JD Martin has a roster of about 85 field-based sales professionals along with more than 100 support staff and an in-house marketing team. The agency serves residential, industrial, commercial, utility, and vertical sectors like data centers, OGP, BESS, renewables. and infrastructure.
“This acquisition marks an exciting milestone in JD Martin’s continued growth,” said Greg Baker, President and CEO of JD Martin. “New Century Sales has built an exceptional business founded on strong leadership, trusted relationships and outstanding customer service. We are proud to welcome their team to the JD Martin family and look forward to investing in their future while continuing to build on the shared values and partnerships that drive lasting success.”
“This merger represents an exciting opportunity to build upon the strengths of both organizations” added Larry Jacob, President of New Century Sales Inc. “By joining forces with JD Martin, we can offer our customers and manufacturer partners greater value, broader resources, and stronger commitment to service excellence.”
