Lighting and lighting-controls distributor LOGIQ — a subsidiary of 1LUX — completed its acquisition of JLS Lighting.
Terms were not disclosed, but the transaction was finalized in July.
Established in 2014, LOGIQ is a national lighting and lighting-control distributor based in Denver, CO. The company provides project management and logistics services in partnership with major industry brands.

Based in Florida, JLS Lighting serves commercial and industrial markets with lighting and control solutions. The company supports regional contractors and design firms through its service-oriented approach. Additionally, JLS Lighting utilizes advanced photometrics for predictable results.
According to LOGIQ, integrating JLS Lighting expands its presence in the Southeast and Florida markets, improving logistics capacity, project management coverage and regional responsiveness. LOGIQ said JLS’s relationships with contractors, architects and electrical distributors will strengthen its national network.
LOGIQ added that combining JLS’s regional expertise with its Modern Supply platform will help improve lead times, logistics efficiency and project delivery for clients across the U.S.

“Acquiring JLS Lighting is a strategic move that strengthens LOGIQ’s ability to deliver smarter, more efficient lighting supply chain solutions,” 1LUX CEO Brian Stern said in a July 30 news release. “JLS’s market expertise and trusted client relationships both in Florida and nationally will help us expand our national footprint and build a more diversified platform for our customers.”
