Electrical supplies distributor Rexel USA agreed to acquire Warshauer Electrical Supply. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Tinton Falls, NJ, Warshauer Electrical provides technical services and products for the electrical industry, including custom switchgear, engineering and design support, generator sales and rentals and lighting solutions for commercial and residential use. The company also offers green energy systems, EV charging infrastructure and energy retrofits. Established in 1954, its service offerings include maintenance programs and a certified training platform for contractors, electricians, designers and architects.

Warshauer Electrical was founded by Martin Warshauer and is currently led by President and Owner Jim Warshauer. The company operates in five locations across New Jersey with 180 employees.

“Warshauer is a leader in the New Jersey market, known for its technical depth, customer-first culture, and exceptional team,” Rexel USA CEO Roger Little said in a June 17 news release. “This acquisition enhances our ability to serve commercial and residential contractors with localized service and scalable solutions.”

Rexel USA’s most recent previous acquisition was of Hempstead, NY-based Schwing Electrical Supply, announced on April 1.
