Electrical supplies distributor U.S. Electrical Services Inc. (USESI) acquired Swift Electrical Supply Company via USESI subsidiary Monarch Electric Company. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Swift Electrical will now operate as part of the Monarch Electric Co. region within USESI.

Based in Teterboro, NJ, Swift Electrical is a distributor of electrical products, serving a range of customers, including contractors, architects, builders, public agencies, energy service companies and commercial property managers. The company operates four locations in New Jersey — Teterboro, East Brunswick, Hawthorne and Valley Cottage — with nearly 100 employees supporting the tri-state area.

USESI said the acquisition enhances its market presence and extends its reach across New Jersey, New York and southern Connecticut.
