France-based electrical supplies distributor Sonepar agreed to acquire two authorized Rockwell Automation distributors in Brazil — LADDER and INTERENG.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Sonepar said the acquisition supports its growth in the Brazilian market, particularly in value-added industrial sectors.
LADDER and INTERENG operate in complementary regions across Brazil, with LADDER covering Greater São Paulo, Baixada Santista, Vale do Paraíba, Sorocaba and Rio de Janeiro and INTERENG serving western São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul and southern Minas Gerais. Together, the two companies operate in more than 10 strategic regions, providing specialized solutions across automation and information technology, from MRO to advanced digital transformation technologies, serving the industrial, logistics, data center, infrastructure and smart building sectors.
