Electrical supplies distributor Werner has strengthened its native northern Wisconsin presence with a local acquisition.
The Appleton-based company announced March 30 that it has added Wausau, WI-based ETCO Electric Supply to its portfolio, with the deal effective March 27. Terms were not disclosed.
“It’s an opportunity for Werner to strengthen our presence in the region and expand our ability to provide electrical solutions for residential and commercial construction,” Werner President Craig Wiedemeier said in a news release. “At the same time, the ETCO team gains the scale, resources and stability of a larger organization — creating new opportunities for growth while preserving the local relationships that matter most.”
Rebranded from Werner Electric Supply in October 2025, Werner has 11 locations across Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
