In mid-2026, electronic components distributor Avnet — an MDM 2025 Industry Titan — plans to move its global headquarters from Phoenix to a 150,000-square-foot building in Tempe, AZ.
Built in 2014, the building most recently served as GoDaddy’s corporate headquarters. The building offers a wide range of onsite and nearby amenities, from outdoor features like pickleball courts and a soccer field to a full gym and game center.
The building is located in the ASU Research Park in active areas of Metro Phoenix.
According to research by Transwestern Real Estate Services, which represented ElmTree Funds in the sale of the building, the Phoenix office market consists of 95.1 million square feet, with a vacancy rate of 17.3%, as of the close of Q1 2025.

“It’s true that great real estate moves even in a slow market, and that was proven here,” Transwestern Executive Managing Partner Jim Fijan in a June 6 news release. “While this region has a significant number of owner/users, this transaction was notable given its size. The building offers such a unique range of amenities, which we’re sure will be beneficial to Avnet.”
