Tooling, fasteners and industrial supplies distributor AFC industries announced the opening of a new facility in Monterrey, Mexico.
The facility will act as a central hub for AFC Industries de Mexico, improving the company’s capacity to offer inventory management programs, just-in-time delivery and value-added services like kitting and custom packaging. This expansion also reinforces the company’s presence in Mexico’s industrial corridor.

“This new location allows us to be closer to our customers, understand their unique needs, and provide the exceptional service that AFC is known for,” AFC Industries de Mexico President Antonio Ron said in a Feb. 19 news release. “Our goal is to build strong, lasting partnerships with businesses in Mexico and help them achieve supply chain excellence.”
The West Chester, OH-based company said the expansion reflects its commitment to supporting OEMs and manufacturers in Mexico and throughout North America with solutions that optimize operations, lower costs and drive supply chain growth.

The new location will be fully operational by mid-February and will be staffed with a team of local supply chain professionals.
AFC announced the acquisition of Aurora, Ontario-based Irwin Industrial on Jan. 9.
