Automotive and industrial replacement parts distributor Genuine Parts Company promoted Alain Masse to President of North America Automotive, effective August 2025.

The announcement coincides with the retirement of Randy Breaux as Group President of GPC North America by the end of 2025. He will serve in an advisory role until then to support the transition.

Masse began his career at GPC in 2011 as Executive Vice President of the Heavy Vehicle Parts Division at UAP and was promoted two years later to EVP of NAPA. In 2015, he was appointed President of UAP.
“With over 14 years of progressive experience at GPC, Mr. Masse is a highly motivated leader with a deep understanding of the automotive aftermarket industry and NAPA business model,” GPC said in a June 9 news release.

In his new position, Masse will lead GPC’s automotive operations across North America and report directly to President and CEO Will Stengel.

“This strategic decision helps build on the momentum in our North America automotive business and creates new commercial opportunities given the similar operating strategies,” Stengel added. “Under Alain’s leadership, UAP has successfully partnered with independent owners, suppliers and customers to drive significant improvements in performance and market share.”
Breaux has been GPC’s North America Group President since July 2023 after serving as President of the company’s industrial parts subsidiary, Motion, for nearly 5 years.
