Industrial supplies and services distributor Haggard & Stocking agreed to acquire the operations of MRO Supply.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but Haggard & Stocking has already contracted to lease and operate the company during the transition.

Based in Indianapolis, IN, MRO Supply is a distributor of fasteners and general industrial MRO supplies. The company serves a range of industries, including food and beverage, manufacturing and pharmaceutical. MRO Supply also offers consulting services where it evaluates companies’ current purchasing practices and offers suggestions.

Haggard & Stocking — a full-line industrial supplies distributor also based in Indianapolis — stated that customers will continue to have access to the specialized products and technical knowledge associated with MRO Supply, improved communication for timely updates, consistent daily operations, and access to Haggard & Stocking’s full range of industrial products and services.

“We believe MRO Supply LLC has untapped potential,” Haggard & Stocking President Jeff Haggard said in an Aug. 15 news release. “By combining its deep niche expertise with our operational experience, we are confident in building a stronger future for the company and its customers.”

Haggard & Supply also said the acquisition aims to maintain and support MRO Supply’s existing operations while incorporating additional resources from a larger organization.

Haggard & Stocking has four other distribution center locations across Indiana, Texas and North Carolina, along with forward stocking locations in Illinois, Oklahoma and Florida.
