Fasteners distributor and manufacturer Optimas Solution shared Sept. 8 that it has stood up a new company entity in Singapore, called Optimas OE Technologies Pte, Ltd.
Formed to strategically aid growth for Optimas’ partners in the region, the company said the expansion will enhance supply chain efficiency and help mitigate geopolitical risks in as Optimas offers increased support for suppliers. Meanwhile, it further enables Optimas to continue delivering efficiency, service and cost advantages for customers.

The news comes two months after Optimas announced it opened a new European headquarters in Hambach, France.
“This is an exciting step forward to speed up our growth in Southeast Asia,” Optimas APAC region Vice President Graeme Bassett said in a news release. “We continue to listen to the ‘voice of our customers’ and provide them with services and products local to them. I’m looking forward to working with old and new customers through Optimas Singapore and thank them for their strong support.”

In other Optimas news, the company announced a new chief operating officer in late August.
