Fastener manufacturer and distributor Optimas Solutions announced June 25 that it is relocating its Lockbourne, OH distribution center to a new facility in Grove City, OH — about 11 miles from its previous site.
Wood Dale, IL-based Optimas said the new 44,385-square-foot distribution center is located at 3555 Gantz Rd. in Grove City. The company said the site’s proximity to major transportation routes will help improve logistics and support faster supply chain response for customers, suppliers and carriers.
The facility move also gives Optimas the opportunity to design the new site around 5S principles, with work areas, inventory locations and material flow set up to support safer and more efficient operations.
