Wisconsin-based fastening solutions manufacturer and distributor Spartan Fastener acquired American Jebco.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Established in 1903, American Jebco is a supplier of fasteners and rivets, serving a range of industries including automotive, construction/hardware and fire safety equipment. Based in Cicero, IL, the company provides rivets and fasteners made from steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and various copper alloys.

Headquartered in Trevor, WI, Spartan said the integration of Jebco’s specialized products with its existing fastening solutions will expand the combined company’s product portfolio, improve manufacturing flexibility and streamline supply chain operations.
“This acquisition marks a major milestone in our growth strategy,” Spartan Fastener CEO Tim Cash said in a July 9 news release. “American Jebco shares our commitment to excellence. Together, we are better positioned to serve our customers with industry-leading quality, shorter lead times, and expanded offerings. The return of U.S.-based manufacturing, combined with our substantial production capacity, makes this the right time to join forces to capitalize on the opportunities in the fastener industry.”
