As part of the transition, Operating Partner at KDSA and former President of Cold Front Distribution Tim Valdez has been appointed CEO of Williams. Tony Williams will remain President through the end of the year and continue as a strategic advisor and brand ambassador.
“We’ve spent decades earning trust in our markets by focusing on best-in-class, flawless customer service. KDSA shares that same mindset,” Tony Williams said in a June 18 news release. “With their support and under Tim’s leadership, I’m confident the business will continue to thrive for years to come.”
KDSA Co-Managing Partner and new Chairman of Williams Distributors David Knopf added: “Williams has built a terrific business grounded in customer service and trust, reliability and strong supplier partnerships.
