Wine and spirits distributor Johnson Brothers agreed to acquire the Texas, Arizona, Colorado and Florida operations of Maverick Beverage Company.
Dallas, TX-based Maverick Beverage is a distributor of wine and craft spirits, with a team of nearly 500 employees across multiple facilities. The company began with the founding of Maverick Wine Company in Illinois in 2002, followed by the launch of Quench Fine Wines in Arizona in 2003. Over the years, Maverick expanded into six states, and in 2023, consolidated its operations under the unified name Maverick Beverage Company.

Based in St. Paul, MN, Johnson Brothers is a distributor of wine, spirits and beer, serving customers across 17 states in the U.S. Established in 1953 by Lynn Johnson, the family-owned company is currently led by Michael and Todd Johnson.
