Harrisburg, PA-based Wilsbach Distributors Inc. has acquired Brewery Products Company of York, PA, to expand its footprint, according to a LinkedIn post from Wilsbach President Frank Sourbeer Jr.

According to the post, the move will expand and streamline distribution rights across the entire footprint and increase total volume by nearly 50%.

Brewery Products Company is a family-owned beer wholesaler serving York, PA and surrounding counties.

“With this milestone, we’ve achieved our strategic volume goal more than two years ahead of schedule,” Sourbeer wrote. “This marks a major step forward in our strategy to: leverage advanced sales process technology to grow organically; pursue strategic acquisitions; [and] invest in adjacent consumer goods categories.”

As a result of the purchase, Wilsbach will welcome 24 new full-time employees from Brewery Products to the company. Wilsbach manufacturer partners include Anheuser-Busch, InBev, Constellation Brands, Troegs Brewing Co., D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. and Sazerac Company. The company serves more than 1,400 retailers throughout 14 Pennsylvania counties.
