Industrial products buying group IBC added Pioneer Industrial Sales to its distributor member network.
Founded in 1997 and acquired by Salt Creek Capital in 2023, Pioneer Industrial Sales supplies industrial products and services to manufacturers in East Tennessee, serving a variety of industries
including consumer goods, automotive and food processing.

Based in Blountville, TN, Pioneer Industrial Sales provides a broad range of products, including MRO, safety, packaging and material handling items. The company’s sourcing capabilities support its participation in IBC’s range of offerings.
“Joining IBC represents an exciting opportunity for us to expand our network and collaborate with fellow members,” Pioneer Industrial Sales CEO Hank Pennington said in a July 11 news release. “We are enthusiastic about the potential to leverage IBC’s resources, such as the Product Information Management (PIM) database, National Accounts and the IBC Connects EDI platform, to better serve our customers and enhance our growth.”

In other recent group news, IBC added two industrial distributors, Texas-based Alatex Tool & Supply and Alabama-based Dutton Industrial Supply, to its network on April 25.
