“Since Aramsco became aware of Jon-Don’s situation, we have been working tirelessly to provide minimal disruption to Jon-Don’s customers,” Aramsco officials said on its website.
Jon-Don’s Factory Cleaning Equipment unit was not acquired by Aramsco.
Jon-Don was founded in 1978 by Nick Paolella and his nephew John Paolella. Nick passed away in early 2022.
Jon-Don was sold from Trivest Partners LP to a fellow private equity firm Incline Equity Partners at the start of 2021.
In late 2023, Jon-Don appointed a new CEO in Eric Royse and was included on MDM’s 2024 Top JanSan Distributors List based on 2023 revenue. By May 9, 2025, the business shuttered. Royse was appointed as CEO of lubricant distributor RelaDyne in February.
“Throughout the decades, Jon-Don was best known for its dedication to the success of its customers, reflected by its “Partners for Success” philosophy,” JanSan market publication Cleanfax wrote in a news post on May 8. “This philosophy was not only focused on delivering quality products but on delivering unwavering support and education as well, so that clients could successfully build their businesses. The company’s Strategies for Success (SFS) program, for example, became a standard for many within the industry who wanted to improve their operations.”
