Pump systems and water supplies distributor Simmons Pump & Supply opened its third U.S. location in Willcox, AZ.
Lubbock, TX-based Simmons acquired a 30,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility to support its sales, management, production, engineering and distribution operations. The property also features a 10,000-square-foot turbine pump testing facility, which will be operated by Simmons’ pump manufacturing partner, SIMFLO. The facility is located at:

Simmons opened its new location on April 1 with 18 employees across sales, management, production and distribution. The team includes leaders such as Joe Riker (president), Tony Torres (general manager), Elizabeth Valdez (outside sales), Rafael Encinas (inside sales) and Angela Hammond (accounting). The company operates an additional facility in Garden City, KS.

Over the next 6-12 months, Simmons said it will upgrade the facility to expedite product delivery and expand inventory. Planned improvements include a redesigned test pit for testing 4″ to 9″ submersible pumps. The warehouse will also be reorganized to improve workflows, streamline turbine and water system operations and optimize storage.

“This new location in Willcox is ideal because it allows us to receive and deliver products in an expedited manner, expand our inventory, enhance our testing capabilities and become the trusted one-stop resource for all things pump and supply,” Simmons Pump & Supply President Joe Riker said in an April 1 news release.
