On Monday, Air Products (NYSE:APD), Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, announced third-quarter net sales of $2.6 billion, which was a 26% increase from the same quarter a year ago. Net income for the quarter rose to $533.6 million, which was up over 19% from the previous year.
“The stability of our business and the dedication of our people have been on full display, as we continue to deliver strong financial results despite the challenges of the pandemic” said Seifi Ghasemi, Air Products’ chairman, president and CEO. “Our sales, adjusted EBITDA and adjusted EPS grew double digits this quarter versus prior-year quarter, and our price and volume continue to be strong.”
