Electrical supplies distributor Rexel USA shared a pair of news items on May 21-22, announcing an extended partnership with a technology vendor and the appointment of an industry veteran to lead the company’s southeast region.
Parspec Partnership
Rexel said it has significantly expanded its strategic partnership with Parspec — an AI-driven technology company serving the construction supply chain. Following a year of digital transformation of Rexel’s internal sales and project management process, the company and Parspec are partnering to to launch a next-generation digital platform for contractor customers.
The initiative is set to improve how Rexel collaborates with customers by delivering a digital platform that will enable customers to access project documents, get current order status and tracking information and communicate with stakeholders across all of their Rexel projects in real time.
“This partnership represents a pivotal step forward in advancing Rexel’s vision to create a more efficient and connected electrical supply chain through digital innovation,” Rexel USA CEO Roger Little said in a news release. “Parspec has been instrumental in digitizing one of the most operationally intensive parts of our business, paving the way for our next major step: enabling seamless collaboration between contractors and Rexel USA in a unified digital environment. This advancement will streamline operations, enhance customer visibility and control, improve project management and ultimately deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.”
Rexel shared that, over the past 12 months, Parspec’s software has been successfully deployed across all of Rexel USA’s regions, with over 1,000 users generating more than 7,500 quotes and 1,000 submittal packages each month.

Southeast Region Leadership

On the staffing side, Rexel appointed Stephen Wyckoff as Senior Vice President and Southeast Region President for the territory that includes Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.
Wyckoff re-joins Rexel USA after serving as President of Lade Electric Supply and Danlar Lighting (part of US Electrical Services Inc.), where Rexel noted he led transformative initiatives, enhanced profitability and expanded market research. Earlier in his career, Wyckoff held roles at Rexel USA/Gexpro and Fastenal.
