Construction and industrial supplies distributor White Cap appointed Christine Reddy as its new General Counsel.

In this role, Reddy will oversee all legal services for the company and serve as Corporate Secretary and legal advisor to the board of directors. She will report directly to CEO Alan Sollenberger.

Reddy previously served as Executive VP and General Counsel at Beacon Building Products for four years. During that time, she supported the company’s long-term strategic plan, including acquisition-related growth and aligning legal services with business objectives.

Before joining Beacon, Reddy spent 15 years at Fannie Mae as VP, Deputy Corporate Secretary and Deputy General Counsel. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Public Broadcasting Service, ultimately serving as Corporate Secretary and Deputy General Counsel. She has over 30 years of experience in transactions, governance and legal team management.

“Christine has an accomplished career providing trusted partnership and insights that support and enable growing organizations,” Sollenberger said in an Aug. 25 news release. “Christine has spent her career building strong governance and compliance programs, supporting transparent and inclusive cultures and serving with a business- and service-first mindset.
