Construction and industrial supplies distributor White Cap acquired the related businesses of American Contractors Supply and Reinforcing Concepts.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Established in 2003, American Contractors Supply provides building materials and brace rentals for non-residential and infrastructure projects. The Georgia-based company specializes in concrete forming, tilt-up systems, chemicals and construction accessories.

ACS was set to be acquired in 2022 by New South Construction Supply, but that deal dissolved.

Reinforcing Concepts delivers submittal-ready shop drawings, supplying the necessary materials, including reinforcing mesh and chairs, and provides installation services. The company offers Engineered Welded Wire Reinforcement, which is a prefabricated reinforcement made of high-strength, cold-drawn or cold-rolled wire welded in parallel using a robotic machine.

White Cap’s most recent previous acquisition was of Wisconsin-based Advanced Fastening Supply, announced on May 27.

The company was No. 11 on MDM’s 2024 Top Distributors List for Industrial Supplies and No. 8 for Building Materials/Construction.
