Capital Machine Technologies Gains Private Investment

Based in Florida, Capital distributes and services metal fabrication machinery for manufacturers across the Southeast and Midwest U.S.

Metal fabrication machinery distributor Capital Machine Technologies, Inc. received an investment from private equity firm Rotunda Capital Partners.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Tampa, FL, Capital specializes in distributing and servicing metal fabrication machinery for manufacturers throughout the Southeast and Midwest U.S.

The company’s offeringsRotunda include press brakes, robotic welders, metal cutting machines and other equipment. Established in 1984, Capital delivers solutions to its customers, such as equipment sales, preventative maintenance, emergency repair services and aftermarket parts. The company operates throughout 16 states — Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky. Capital also maintains two showrooms in Atlanta, GA and Dallas, TX.

“We are excited to announce our new chapter of growth with Rotunda,” Capital Founder and CEO Dan DeBickero said in an April 15 news release. “We believe their partnership will help us accelerate our already strong repair and maintenance services, enter new geographies, and expand our product offering. We believe this will allow us to better serve our existing customers while rapidly expanding with new customers.”

Moving forward, Debickero and his senior management team will continue to lead Capital.
