Terms were not disclosed, but the transaction closed on June 6.

CREO said the acquisition supports its strategy to invest in founder-led and family-owned businesses in B2B food procurement and logistics. CREO noted that Bova Fresh’s category focus and distribution network complement CREO’s portfolio, including Yucatan Guacamole and offer opportunities for cross-selling, broader distribution and product expansion.
“Our priority was finding the right partner who shares our vision for growth while respecting the culture and customer relationships we’ve built over the years,” Bova Fresh Co-Founder Bob Wilhelm said in an August release. “CREO’s deep experience in the food sector and commitment to supporting founder-led businesses made them the ideal choice for our next chapter.”
The founders will keep an ownership stake and continue managing day-to-day operations. The company will be integrated with similar businesses in CREO’s portfolio.
