MDM is closing its AI Adoption Index survey in one week, and we’re inviting distribution leaders to add their perspective before the research window closes.
The project is designed to benchmark where distributors are in their AI journey — from early exploration to active implementation — and identify where companies are applying AI with specific (but anonymous) use cases; where they are seeing the most value; and what processes they are putting in place to make AI initiatives successful.
The anonymous and secure survey will inform a forthcoming MDM research report and interactive online dashboard that shows how AI adoption is taking shape across wholesale distribution. The broader the response pool, the more useful those benchmarks will be for distributors evaluating their own AI strategies, priorities and investments.
Survey participants will be among the first to access the final report and dashboard, giving them an early look at how peers are approaching AI adoption across business functions, sectors and company sizes.
The survey is open to distributors and others across the wholesale distribution ecosystem. It asks about company demographics, AI usage, business applications, perceived value, barriers to adoption and the practices companies are using to support AI implementation.
As AI continues to move from experimentation to business application, MDM’s AI Adoption Index aims to provide a clearer picture of where the industry stands today — and where it may be headed next.
