Tavares, Florida-based GWS Toll Group acquired Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin-based Carbide Tools Manufacturing, Inc., a provider of special carbide round tools.
GWS says the deal will expand its manufacturing presence in the upper-Midwest region. Financial terms were not disclosed.
“CTMI has a tremendous reputation for service and ingenuity,” GWS CEO Rick McIntyre said. “Their experience with round tools and commitment to quality perfectly mirrors that of the GWS organization and will further enhance our capacity to support the round tool segment of our business.”
GWS is a vertically integrated manufacturer of “highly engineered custom, standard, and modified standard cutting tools, primarily servicing the aerospace and defense, power generation, automotive and medical sectors.”
